Off, off and away!

Off the hardstand and into the water....we had to be extra slick to sand down the patches under the cradle pads and beneath the keel (Bob) and slap antifouling on as thickly as possible (Judy), and then we were motoring out to the anchorage at Pupa once again.  So wonderful to feel the motion through the water and then the gentle rocking at anchor:)

Rockhopper of Lune was at anchor and offered hundreds of DVDs for us to select from and put onto a hard disc, for relaxing evenings in the future.   We met up with Shamal and Rockhopper a couple of times for dinner at Yat Marin and we know that we'll all meet again, perhaps in the Cape Verdes or somewhere in the Caribbean.

60m extra chain had been found for us by Amphora and we motored around to the river beside Netsel Marina.  Bob set off in the dinghy leaving me to idly motor off the quay near the fuel dock.  We anchored of Attaturk's statue and took the new chain over the bow.  There was time to collect some food supplies before motoring back to Pupa Anchorage and wait for Engen from Star Upholstery to fit the new mesh sun screens over the windows and sunshades zipped to the bimini.  We are delighted with all the work that has been done in Marmaris, and apart from the wifi cable proving rather difficult to fit into King Neptune's Trident, everything is working well.

New plank passorelle purchased in Rhodes
